Byron Bay and the surrounding towns, villages and countryside are abundant with food producers, restaurants, cafés and places to chill out with a picnic.  You will find world-class eateries, specialist food stores, organic and biodynamic produce and simply great coffee; not to mention the local tropical delicacies such as macadamia nuts and dragon fruit.

The farmers' market, in Byron Bay on Thursday mornings and in Bangalow on Saturday mornings (8-11am) is a wonderful place to buy fresh produce.
